Client Project – Platformer template

This is a small project that was made for a client. The project was to make a simple platformer template that featured the following:

-Player with movement and physics.

-Enemy skeleton that can damage the player.

-Main menu and game over screens.

-Collisions.

-Move to the next level on trigger.

-Player can defeat the enemies.

The template took roughly a day to develop.

An animated image showcasing some functionality of the template.
Enemies use attacks to damage the player, but simple collisions were also implemented which would damage the player on contact, and remove the enemy afterwards.
The player does not immediately come to a stop when he releases the keys. This makes the movement a bit more difficult since the player will need to anticipate.
The player can target and destroy enemies.
If an enemy succeeded in hitting the player, the enemy will be destroyed.
